The giveaway is available to eligible entrants who accept a renewal or new offer for a 2025/26 medical indemnity policy (2025/26 Policy) with MDA National up to and including 31 July 2025.

The giveaway is available to Australian medical practitioners, who are:

  • current members of MDA National or join MDA National during the promotional period, and
  • are in the categories of PGY2, PGY3, PGY4 or PGY5.

MDA National will provide a $1,500 travel voucher to three (3) renewing Members of MDA National and one (1) to a new Member from two randomly selected draws in August 2025.

Members who have already renewed for the 2025/26 Policy period will be automatically included in the draw unless they opt out by notifying MDA National via this link.

New Policy applications are subject to underwriting approval.

A 2.5% administration fee with be applied if the premium is paid via direct debit instalment payments.

  1. Information on how to enter this giveaway forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into this giveaway is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions set out below ('Terms and Conditions').
  2. The prize draw is being run by MDA National Insurance Pty Ltd ABN 56 058 271 417 AFS Licence Number 238073 ('MDA National Insurance') of Level 3, 88 Colin Street, West Perth WA 6005, Australia, phone 1800 011 255. MDA National Insurance is a wholly owned subsidiary of MDA National Limited ABN 67 055 801 771 (MDA National) (together MDA National Group).
  3. Entry to be included in the giveaway draw ends at 23.59pm (AEST) Thursday, 31 July 2025 (‘Closing Date’).
  4. Entry is open to Australian medical practitioners (excluding ACT residents) in the categories of PGY2, PGY3, PGY4 or PGY5 who accept a
    • renewal (Renewal Group), or
    • new (New Member Group)
    MDA National Insurance 2025/26 Policy offer by the Closing Date (‘Eligible Entrant’).
  5. ACT residents will be eligible to participate once MDA National Insurance receives of approval from the ACT Trade Promotion Lottery Office, if granted.
  6. Entry is limited to one entry per Eligible Entrant.
  7. The purchase price for the medical indemnity insurance 2025/26 Policy is $50.00.
  8. The giveaway is not open to MDA National Insurance staff or their families.
  9. The prize consists of four Webjet travel vouchers, valued at $1,500 each ('prize'). The total value of all prizes is $6,000.
  10. Three (3) travel vouchers will be allocated to the Renewal Group and one (1) travel voucher will be allocated to the New Member Group.
  11. Eligible Entrants who have already renewed their medical indemnity insurance for FY25/26 prior to Saturday, 28 June 2025 will be included in the renewal draw unless they opt out by notifying MDA National by the Closing Date.
  12. The prizes will be drawn on Thursday, 7 August 2025 at 10.00am (AEST) at MDA National Insurance's Sydney office, Level 6, Building B/207 Pacific Highway, St Leonards NSW 2065.
  13. There will two prize draws. Three winners will be randomly drawn from the Renewal Group and one winner will be randomly drawn from the New Member Group.
  14. The result is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winners will be contacted by email on the day of the draw to arrange delivery of the prize. The winners’ details including first name and last name will be published on the MDA National website and social media channels.
  15. The winners will be given three (3) days to claim their prize by informing MDA National. If a prize is not claimed within this time then a redraw will take place at MDA National's Sydney office, Level 6, Building B/207 Pacific Highway, St Leonards NSW 2065 at 10.00am (AEDT) on 13 August 2025. Redraws will follow the same process until a successful claim is made.
  16. Winners who have successfully redeemed their prize will not be included in any subsequent draw or redraw.
  17. The new winner(s) will be contacted by email on the day of the draw to arrange delivery of the prize. The winners’ details including first name and last name will be published on the MDA National website and social media channels.
  18. The prizes must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner(s) is unable to use the prize as stated.
  19. Prizes are not transferable to another person or exchangeable for other goods and services and cannot be redeemed as cash.
  20. The MDA National Group and its respective officers and employees will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained in connection with this giveaway, the promotion of this giveaway or the use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  21. The MDA National Group is not responsible for any late, lost, incorrectly submitted, delayed, ineligible, incomplete or misdirected entry whether due to error or otherwise.
  22. Entry details remain the property of MDA National Insurance . The name of the winner(s) may be used for promotional purposes by the MDA National Group, unless the winner otherwise notifies the MDA National Group at the time of accepting his/her prize. Eligible Entrants consent to MDA National Insurance using the contact details provided in connection with their MDA National Insurance policy for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the competition and awarding any prizes. MDA National collects, uses and discloses personal information of entrants in accordance with the MDA National Group’s Privacy Policy for the purposes of conducting this giveaway.   23. Where this giveaway is communicated and/or conducted via a social media platform (including, but not limited to, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and/or X (formerly Twitter), entrants acknowledge that use of social media platforms are subject to their terms and conditions of use.
  24. The giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered, or associated with any social media platform.
  25. If for any reason any aspect of this giveaway is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the MDA National Group, MDA National Insurance may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the giveaway and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
